This recipe teaches you how to make creamy and delicious sopas without the meat but with all the flavor thanks to a combination of Knorr Chicken Cube and Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup. 

Tips

Serve the sopas and macaroni noodles separately to prevent the noodles from soaking up all the soup. This helps with keeping the sopas fresh when there’s leftovers and prevents the noodles from getting soggy.

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp oil, for cooking
  • 5 pcs garlic cloves
  • 1 pc red onion, small
  • 1 pc large celery, diced with leaves removed
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 pc Knorr Chicken cube
  • 1 pack Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup dissolved in 1 liter of water
  • 1 1/2 cup cabbage, sliced
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 100 g elbow macaroni, cooked according to package instructions
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
Cooking Method
  1. In a medium pot over medium high heat, sauté onions, garlic, celery, and mushrooms.

  2. Add carrots and crumbled Knorr Chicken Cube into the same pot and sauté for 2 more minutes.

  3. Add Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Add cabbage and corn. Season with salt and pepper and let the sopas simmer for 2 more minutes.

  5. Mix in evaporated milk for extra creaminess.

  6. Take off the heat and add in the macaroni noodles. Serve warm and enjoy!
