Ingredients
For Open-Faced Brie Sandwich with Apples & Ham:
- 2 pcs sourdough bread, sliced at 1 inch thickness
- 1 tbsp Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise
- 4 pcs turkey or chicken ham, thinly sliced
- 2 pcs medium apples, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pc small brie wheel, sliced
- 1/4 cup rocket arugula or baby spinach
- drizzle honey
- to taste salt and pepper
For Open-Faced BLT on Croissant:
- 1 pc large croissant, sliced in half
- 2 pcs American cheese slices
- 2 tbsp Lady’s Choice Sandwich Spread
- 4 pcs romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 pc large tomatoes, sliced into wheels
- to taste salt
- 6 pcs bacon, cooked to a crisp
- to taste Knorr Liquid Seasoning Original (optional)
For Open-Faced Avocado Toast with A Twist:
- 2 tbsp pesto
- 2 pcs eggs
- drizzle olive oil
- 2 pcs sourdough bread, sliced at 1 inch thickness
- 1 tbsp Lady’s Choice Bacon Spread
- 1 pc avocado, sliced
- to taste salt and pepper
- to taste lemon juice
- 1/4 cup kesong puti, crumbled
For Open-Faced Egg Salad Sandwich Melt:
- 2 pcs hard boiled eggs, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Lady’s Choice Tuna Spread
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 pc large tomatoes, sliced into wheels
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Making hot open-faced sandwiches is a great way to have healthy and nutritious meals in minutes. These recipes are great starting points for those new to making these types of sandwiches. Once you’ve mastered these recipes, feel free to switch it up by changing the protein (i.e. replacing turkey ham with mortadella or honey ham) or adding spices like paprika, dill, or basil on top. For Open-Faced Brie Sandwich with Apples & Ham:
Preheat the oven to broil.
Arrange your bread on a baking sheet
Spread Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise on the sourdough bread.
Slice or fold the slices of turkey or chicken ham on top of the bread neatly,
Put the apple slices on top of the ham followed by the sliced brie.
Place in the oven and broil for about 2 minutes or until the cheese has softened
Top with arugula or spinach.
Finish with a drizzle of honey and salt and pepper to taste.
For Open-Faced BLT on Croissant:
Slice your croissant in half.
Smear Lady’s Choice Sandwich Spread on the croissant.
Top with american cheese slices and toast in an oven toaster for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese has started to melt.
Take the croissant out of the toaster and top with lettuce leaves.
Season the sliced tomatoes with salt and add on top of your open-faced sandwich.
Next, add the crispy bacon on top to help it remain crisp and delicious,
Season with Knorr Liquid Seasoning Original, if using.
For Open-Faced Avocado Toast with A Twist:
Heat a pan over medium heat and add pesto.
Crack your eggs over the pan and cook to your desired doneness.
Set aside.
Toast the bread in the same pan drizzled with a little olive oil over medium high heat.
Take off the heat and smear Lady’s Choice Bacon Spread on the bread.
Arrange sliced avocado on top of the bread and season with salt, pepper, and a little lemon juice.
Put one egg on top of each open-faced sandwich and finish off with the crumbled kesong puti.
For Open-Faced Egg Salad Sandwich Melt:
In a medium bowl, mix the chopped hard boiled eggs. Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise, and Lady’s Choice Tuna Spread together.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Toast the bread for 1 minute.
Season the sliced tomatoes with salt and set aside.
Get your toasted bread and layer the egg salad mixture, tomatoes, and shredded cheese on top.
Broil for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
