Tips
Use a meat thermometer to know if your chicken wings are done. When pierced at the thickest part of the meat, the thermometer should register 165F. If you don’t have a thermometer, a simple trick to know if the chicken is done is if the juices run clear when you pierce the chicken.

Ingredients
- 1/2 kg chicken wings
- 1 head garlic, crushed
- black peppercorn, crushed
- salt, to taste
- 1 pack Knorr Sinigang Sa Sampalok mix
Breading Mixture
- 1/4 cup flour, add as needed
- 2 pcs eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, add as needed
Sauce
- 1 cup melted butter
- Tabasco sauce, to taste
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 1/4 cup honey
- oil for frying as needed

Rub the chicken wings with garlic, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for a few minutes for the chicken wings to absorb the flavor.
Poach the chicken wings: Place seasoned chicken wings inside a pot and add enough water to cover the chicken wings by 1 inch.
Place the pot over medium heat and bring to a boil and then lower the heat to bring the water to a simmer and cook until the chicken wings are done.
Remove the chicken from the liquid and allow it to drain. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel after.

Get three shallow dishes and fill one with flour, one with eggs, and the other with breadcrumbs.
Coat your chicken with flour, shaking off any excess and then dip in the beaten eggs before finally coating it with breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large saucepan or deep fryer to 375F. Fry chicken wings in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
Place your chicken wings on a wire rack to get rid of excess oil.
Combine the melted butter, tabasco sauce, sesame oil, and honey in a saucepan and heat until combined and thickened.
Place your chicken wings in a bowl. Then, drizzle the sauce over the chicken wings and toss to coat.
