Ingredients

Shrimp & Broccoli Stir Fry:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 500 g shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 500 g broccoli, chopped into small pieces
  • sesame seeds, optional

Shrimp With Broccoli Sauce:

  • 5 pcs garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning Chili
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
Cooking Method
  1. Place the cleaned and deveined shrimp into a large bowl and set aside

  2. In another bowl, mix together all the shrimp with broccoli sauce ingredients except for the cornstarch.

  3. Divide the mixture in half and pour half of it on the bowl with the shrimp to marinate. Marinate in the fridge for 15 minutes, 30 minutes max.

  4. Mix in the cornstarch with the other half. Set aside.

  5. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the broccoli until it’s tender. This should take around 4-6 minutes depending on how hot the pan is.

  6. Remove the broccoli from the pan and set aside.

  7. In the same pan, add the marinated shrimp and cook on one side for 2 minutes before flipping and stir-frying. Cook only until the shrimp changes color. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

  8. Add the sauce into the pan and let simmer for 1 minute.

  9. Stir-fry everything together to coat the broccoli and shrimp. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the sauce is thick and glossy.

  10. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds on top, if using. Serve with warm bowls of rice and enjoy!
