Make Rainy Days Extra Special with This French Onion Soup
This French onion soup recipe is deceptively delicious. Ready in less than an hour with only 9 ingredients, this dish is perfect for making rainy days at home extra special. Instead of spending hours preparing food, you get to spend more time lounging around while still getting to enjoy a rich and flavorful French onion soup. The difference between regular onion soup and French onion soup is the onions used. Regular onion soup uses a mix of different onions while French onion soup recipes usually use only yellow/white onions cooked in a rich beef broth. This recipe takes it to another level by using 3 pcs of Knorr Beef Cubes which is equivalent to 3 kilos of beef in terms of flavor. That’s all the richness of beef minus the meat and with all the savings which means you can make this a regular date night staple. Try this next time you’re stuck at home because of the rain and watch it transform your meal from boring to scrumptious!
Tips
Experiment with this French onion soup recipe by changing up the cheese you use to top it with. Use Gruyere for a rich and nutty flavor or use a combination of three cheeses (Swiss, Parmesan, and Mozzarella) for a more complex textural and flavor combination.
