Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg puso ng saging, sliced
  • 1/4 cup rock salt
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 100 g pork liempo, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp red onions, chopped
  • 1 pc small ginger knob, thinly sliced
  • 1 pack Knorr Ginataang Gulay Complete Recipe Mix, dissolved in 1 ½ cups of water
  • 1 tsp red chilli, sliced
  • 1 tbsp green chili, sliced
Cooking Method
  1. Sprinkle rock salt over the puso ng saging or banana blossom then gently massage. This will draw out the sap of the puso ng saging. Rinse several times over cool running water to wash off the salt and the sticky sap. Keep submerged in cool water until ready to use.

  2. In a pan, heat oil then add pork slices. Cook until lightly browned.

  3. Add garlic, onions, and ginger until soft and fragrant.

  4. Add drained puso ng saging and Knorr Pork Cube. Sauté until cube dissolves. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Pour in dissolved Knorr Ginataang Gulay Complete Recipe Mix and allow to simmer until sauce has slightly thickened and the puso ng saging is cooked.

  6. Add chilies. Serve while warm.
