Healthy & Juicy Air Fryer Chicken Breast
Chicken breast often gets a bad rep, especially when it’s boneless and skinless like what we use in this recipe. It’s dubbed bland, dry, and hard to flavor but we’re here to change that. Chicken breast can be flavorful and juicy by just adding an extra step before cooking – brining. Brining keeps your chicken breast moist and adds extra flavor to the meat. In this recipe, we use Knorr Chicken cube to amp up the flavor, making it taste like it’s been cooked in chicken stock for hours, minus the dryness. We make it extra easy by using an air fryer for even cooking and browning of the chicken breast.
Tips
Spray your air fryer basket with non-stick spray to prevent your chicken from sticking to it. If you don’t have non-stick spray, brushing the basket with oil can help. Just make sure it’s an oil with a high smoke point such as canola or peanut oil.

Brine Your Chicken
Make the brine by adding the water, Knorr Chicken Cube, thyme, and garlic into a pot. Bring to a boil and allow to boil for 3 minutes. Set aside and let it cool completely.
Once brine has cooled down, transfer to a container with a cover. Make sure it’s big enough for the brine and the chicken pieces.
Submerge the chicken in the brine and allow to brine in the chiller for at least two hours up to overnight.
Air Fry Your Chicken
Remove chicken breast from brine and pat dry. Add oil and season with italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add seasoned chicken into the air fryer basket and air fry on medium heat for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook again for another 10 minutes. Make sure to check on your chicken as cook time will vary depending on your air fryer and the size of your chicken breast.
Once cooked, let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve alongside your favorite chicken sides, bonus if it’s air fried vegetables!
