Preparing this dish is so easy that you can make it in less than 10 minutes, making it perfect for busy evenings or when you’re craving some green mango. Feel free to add more mangoes if you have a hearty appetite! 

Tips

It’s best to use carabao mango for ensaladang mangga. This is a nutritional powerhouse, packed with Vitamin A and C.

Ingredients
  • 2 pcs medium fresh green mango, peeled and sliced into cubes
  • 3 pcs medium tomatoes, cubed
  • 1 pc medium red or white onion, cubed
  • 2 pcs calamansi, optional
  • 1 pc medium salted egg, peeled
  • 5 tbsp shrimp paste (bagoong alamang)
  • 1/4 pc Knorr shrimp cube
Cooking Method
  1. In a bowl, combine the mangoes, tomatoes, salted egg, and onion. You can skip the salted egg if you prefer.

  2. In a separate bowl or saucer, crush the Knorr Shrimp Cube and add it to the shrimp paste. Mix both ingredients well.

  3. Pour the calamansi juice and then the shrimp paste with Knorr Shimp Cube.

  4. Toss the ingredients until they are well blended.

  5. Top with more shrimp paste if you want.

  6. Serve with your favorite fried or grilled dish.

  7. Share and enjoy or indulge to your heart’s content.
