You can then roll a larger piece of bacon and skewer that onto each canape with parsley and a flat egg slice. We guarantee that all options are delicious — your choice, really! Ingredients
  • 6 pcs bacon slices
  • 6 pcs large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Lady's Choice Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 loaf sliced bread
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
Cooking Method
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange bacon slices in a single layer. Bake for 12 to 20 minutes until crispy. Remove bacon from the oven and drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil. Slice bacon into smaller pieces once cooled.

  2. Boil eggs for 10 minutes in a medium-sized saucepan. Remove from heat and transfer the eggs to a bowl filled with ice water. Let cool for a minute or two. Peel the eggs, then slice into smaller, flat pieces.

  3. Whisk Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth. Set aside.

  4. Cut out rounds from bread slices using a 1 ½-inch cookie cutter. Toast the bread rounds in a toaster or in the oven for 2 to 4 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.

  5. Arrange the toasted bread rounds on a serving platter. Spoon a small amount of the mayonnaise mixture onto each round. Top with a piece of sliced egg, bacon, and parsley, and skewer with a decorative toothpick for festive feels. Serve and enjoy!
