Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 3 pcs large eggs, divided
  • 3 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp five-spice powder
  • 4 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
Cooking Method
  1. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil on a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for around 4 minutes or until they turn orange.

  2. Flip the shrimp over and cook for a few more minutes. Transfer to a plate.

  3. Crack two eggs into a small bowl and beat them together. Beat the last egg in a separate bowl.

  4. Heat a large saute pan or a walk with half a tablespoon of the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  5. Once the pan is hot, add the two beaten eggs and scramble them for around 30 seconds until they’re fluffy and no longer runny.

  6. Transfer the eggs to a dish and turn off the heat. Wipe off the pan or wok with a damp kitchen towel.

  7. Drizzle the remaining one and a half tablespoons of oil in the pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ginger, and cook for another minute.

  8. Add the mixed vegetables, scallions, and salt and cook for another two minutes.

  9. Add the cooked rice into the pan or wok and cook for a few minutes until the rice is heated. If there are large clumps of rice, break them apart with the back of your spatula.

  10. Pour the single beaten egg over the rice and stir to coat the rice with the egg. Cook for another minute.

  11. Add the Knorr Liquid Seasoning and sesame oil, and stir.

  12. Add the cooked shrimp and egg to the pan and stir again. Turn off the heat.

  13. Serve immediately.
