Ingredients
  • 3 cups cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 1/4 cups scallions, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 pcs eggs, beaten
  • for brushing extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp okonomiyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp Lady's Choice Real mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp pickled ginger
  • 1/2 nori sheet (dried seaweed), sliced
Cooking Method
  1. Combine the cabbage, scallions, panko, and salt in a large bowl. Gently mix in the eggs.

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Brush the skillet with olive oil, and use a ¼ measuring cup to scoop the cabbage mixture into the skillet.

  3. Gently flatten the mixture with a spatula so it’ss about ½ inch thick. Cook three minutes per side or until browned, turning the heat low as needed.

  4. Repeat with the remaining mixture, wiping out the skillet and brushing more oil as needed.

  5. Drizzle the mixture with the okonomiyaki sauce and thin strips of squeezed Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise.

  6. Top with sesame seeds, pickled ginger and nori. Serve hot.

This dish is best served immediately, so ensure everyone is ready to eat before you start cooking.
