Easy Ginataang Adobo Recipe
This classic dish combines the rich flavor of chicken simmered in vinegar and soy sauce, infused with the sweet and creamy taste of Knorr Ginataang Gulay.
Tips
After adding the vinegar, let it slowly simmer and do not cover the pan. This process will slowly remove the strong vinegar aroma and lessen the strong vinegar taste.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken,cut into serving pieces
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 pc bay leaf
- 1 tbsp whole black peppercorns, crushed
- 1 (33 g) pack Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix
- 2 cups water

Begin by getting a pan and make it nice and hot over high heat. Pour some oil and sear the chicken pieces in until brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, throw in the garlic and pour the vinegar. Allow to simmer for a minute without stirring. Wait for the strong vinegar aroma to evaporate.
Gently return the seared chicken pieces and just saute for 3 minutes.
Pour in the soy sauce, bay leaf, peppercorns and Knorr Ginataang Gulay Recipe Mix dissolved in 500 ml water.
Finally, cover the pan and allow to simmer until the chicken is cooked through. And that's our dish!
