Our easy Chinese feet dim sum recipe features Knorr Liquid Seasoning to give the dish an umami kick. It’s a great main dish or finger food during gatherings with friends and family.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb chicken feet
  • 1 cup Chinese cooking wine
  • 3 - 5 cups water
  • 3 pcs ginger slices, large and thin
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 5 pcs dried red chili
  • 1 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns
  • 10 pcs garlic cloves, smashed
  • 3 pcs star anise
Cooking Method
  1. Cut off all the nails from the chicken feet and scrub the chicken clean with water.

  2. Add ginger, green onion, Chinese cooking wine, and water in a pot. The chicken should be fully covered in water. Bring it to a simmer, and let it cook for 3 minutes.

  3. Once the grime comes out, drain and rinse clean.

  4. Season the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, Knorr Liquid Seasoning, garlic, green onion, Sichuan peppercorn, star anise, sugar, and 4 cups of water.

  5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and let it cook for an hour.

  6. After 1 hour, the chicken should be ready to eat, rest it in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours or enjoy it immediately.
