- freshly ground pepper
- 5 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pc onion, thinly sliced
- 1 stalk leek, thinly sliced
- 1/2 pc carrot, sliced into strips
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 2 -3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 3 tbsp water
This Chinese-style steamed lapu-lapu is served best with piping hot rice and steamed bok choy. In just under an hour, you have a healthy and impressive meal that can serve as a family dinner staple or a party favorite.

In a small bowl, mix together Knorr Liquid Seasoning Original, pepper, and sesame oil.
Place lapu-lapu in a large container that fits into your steam basket and season with the mixture.
Top the lapu-lapu with the onions, leeks, and carrots.
Place the container inside the steam basket and let it cook for 8-10 minutes or longer depending on the size of your fish.
Once cooked, transfer lapu-lapu into a serving platter. Set aside.
