Let’s start by preparing the Palapa sauce. Just simply mix and pound all Palapa ingredients together in a mortar and pestle, or in a blender. Add Knorr Liquid Seasoning and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Next, we can work on the Beef Kimus meat. Let’s begin by diluting Knorr Beef Cube in 3 tbsp vegetable oil then set this aside.
Get a large mixing bowl and combine the ground beef, garlic, carrots onion, onion leeks, palapa mixture, grated coconut meat and diluted Knorr Beef cube. Mix and pound thoroughly until the mixture turns yellow in color and has a dough like consistency. While mixing, sprinkle some Knorr Liquid Seasoning, salt and pepper as well.
Take a hand full of the beef mixture and mold it into egg-shaped pieces. Steam the pieces for 20 minutes or until beef is cooked and that’s our dish!
Beef Kimus goes well with bread, rice or on pasta dishes! However many ways you serve them, it’s best enjoyed with your family.
