Savory Air Fryer Recipes

Air Fryer Hard “Boiled” Eggs

Yes, you can make hard “boiled” eggs in the air fryer. You can even make them soft boiled depending on what you prefer. It’s a simple and easy alternative way to make batches of boiled eggs that you can eat for days to come.

Here’s how to make it:
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C. Once preheated, add eggs to the basket or air fryer rack making sure to leave space in between for proper air circulation. Cooking times will vary depending on your brand of air fryer so this is where trial and error comes into play. Aim to cook your eggs between 11-17 minutes, depending on your desired doneness. Don’t worry! Once you get it right, you’ll never make hard “boiled” eggs the traditional way ever again.

This bacon-wrapped avocado is keto-friendly, incredibly delicious, and so simple to make in your air fryer. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C. While it’s preheating, slice your avocado into wedges and wrap each wedge with bacon, slicing the bacon if it’s too long. Arrange them in your air fryer basket with the seam side down, making sure to work in batches so there’s enough space for yes, you’ve guessed it, air circulation. Air fry for 8 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.

Sweet Air Fryer Recipes

French Toast Sticks

Make french toast the way you normally would but cook them in an air fryer instead for a fuss-free breakfast.

Here’s how to make it:
Preheat your air fryer to 180°C and while it’s preheating, prepare your ingredients. We highly recommend using brioche because it soaks up the batter really well and helps make a custardy french toast. You can also use stale bread which absorbs the batter better than fresh bread. You need about 8 slices of bread cut into three sticks.

To prepare your batter, in a shallow bowl, mix 3 large eggs, half a cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Dip your bread in the batter, making sure to not soak for too long. Line the air fryer with parchment and spray with non-stick oil before placing your french toast sticks in a single layer. Make sure that you only put the parchment in the air fryer with the french toast sticks to avoid it moving around and potentially being a fire hazard. The weight of the bread keeps it safe in place.

Cook for 6 minutes, adjusting depending on your air fryer, and there you have it, simple and easy air fryer french toast sticks.

Air Fryer S’mores

These s’mores are quick, easy, and versatile. All you need are graham crackers, marshmallows, and your choice of chocolate. Break your graham crackers into squares, top with half a giant marshmallow, and air fry at 190°C for 4-6 minutes or until golden. Once done, top with chocolate and another graham square. You can even change up the s’mores and add a combination of Nutella and strawberries or apples and caramel sauce on top.
