Every day there are new Tiktok food trends and Instagram recipes popping up that everyone seems to go crazy about. From Dalgona coffee to cloud bread, the past years have been full of trending recipes that have shaped how and what we eat. With over a million foodtok recipes out there, we’ve narrowed it down to 5 of the most popular recipes that are worth trying at home.

Pink Sauce Recipe

Pink sauce took the world by storm when a Tiktok creator, who goes by the name Chef Pii, shared this bright-colored pink sauce that she slathered on everything – fries, chicken tenders, and even salads. Since we can’t buy the $20 pink sauce here in the Philippines and we don’t want the risk of exploding bottles, we recommend making this bright-hued sauce at home.

To make, add the following ingredients to a blender: 2 cups of Lady's Choice Real Mayonnaise, ½ tbsp honey, 3 garlic cloves, ½ tsp cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp white vinegar, 1 tbsp milk, and ⅓ cup dragon fruit. Blend well and add salt and pepper to suit your taste. Now you have your very own TikTok pink sauce that you can use on a variety of foods.

Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Sticks

If you’re looking for an easy new recipe that will satisfy your cravings and more, this TikTok food made popular by Sweet Portfolio is worth a try. To make, simply replace your flour with crushed flaming hot Cheetos when dredging your mozzarella sticks. First dip the mozzarella in the egg, then in the Cheetos. Do this two times to get a thick and even coating on your sticks. Spray your mozzarella sticks with oil and bake in your pre-heated air fryer at 200°C for 6 minutes.

Smashburger Taco

This trending recipe has recently been making rounds on social media and while we can’t pinpoint who started the trend, we can teach you how to make it. This smashburger taco is a cross between your smashburger, and you guessed it, taco. It’s a mouthwatering and interesting new recipe to try at home.

Here’s how to make it:

Step 1: Create your smashburger sauce by combining 1 cup Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise with ¼ cup ketchup, 1 and ½ tsp yellow mustard, 2 tbsp sweet relish, 1 tsp paprika, and 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional).
Step 2: Get 1 pound of lean ground beef and divide it into six meatballs, about 3-4 ounces each.
Step 3: Heat up your pan and place your meatball down and place a tortilla on top. Smash the burger down with a spatula until the patty is flat and at the edges of the tortilla. Allow to cook for about 1-2 minutes and flip.
Step 4: Top with sliced American cheese, your taco toppings of choice (we recommend onions, tomatoes, and lettuce), and your smashburger sauce.

Now you have a delicious smashburger taco that’ll go from trending recipe to dinner staple.

Avocado Toast with Grated Egg

Avocado toast has been trending for as long as we could remember but this trending recipe puts a fresh spin on what has become a breakfast staple. It takes your regular avocado toast and puts a grated hard-boiled egg on top to create a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. To make this, toast your bread and place avocado slices on top. Take your hard-boiled egg, and grate it on top of the avocados. For better texture and an easier time grating, you can freeze your eggs ahead of time and use a microplane. Top with salt, chili flakes, and lemon juice for a delicious avocado toast, with a twist.
